Larry Treen

Services for Larry O. Treen will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home in Kenton by Pastor Donald Holbrook. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery in Kenton with graveside military services conducted by Amvets Post 1994.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Thursday.
He died at 10:19 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2011 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.
He was born March 25, 1947 in Kenton to William and Julie “Freda” (Brown) Treen and they survive in Kenton. On July 18, 1985, he married Sharon Armstrong and she survives in Findlay.
Also surviving are two sons, Dwight (Jill) Treen of Avon, Ind., and Chad Treen of Kenton; a daughter, Christina (Troy) Sheets of Indianapolis, Ind.; seven grandchildren; a step-son, Jimmy Armstrong of Findlay; a step-daughter, Lisa Lonsway of Lima; a step-grandson and a step-great-grandson.
He was a 1965 graduate of Kenton High School and retired from Cooper Tire in Findlay.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Amvets Post 21 in Findlay. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 698 in Findlay and the D.A.V. in Findlay. He was also a member of the American Legion Post in North Baltimore.
